Oil Tycoon Hair Oil Review

Haircuts and salon treatments are few and far between these days. In a quest for much needed at-home dry hair repair, we stumbled across Oil Tycoon and could not wait to share this product review.

The NCT Heavy Blend Oil comes in two sizes or a hair kit that includes a wide toothed comb. We went with the 8oz bottle to get as much product as possible for multiple treatments. The ingredient list is simple- just eight natural oils that are carefully selected to hydrate, strengthen, repair, and stimulate dry hair and scalp. You can even see black sesame seeds floating in the oil blend.

According to Oil Tycoon , the product was inspired by the founder’s childhood in India and her mother’s hair oiling formula.

“Indian mothers passing down ancient beauty secrets to their daughters is a century-old tradition and I would love to share my family’s secrets with you.”

We’re big fans of this Oil Tycoon product because of its clean ingredients and how soft and shiny it made our long and dull quarantine hair after just one treatment. Just as important, we love what’s not  in the product- like fragances, parabens, silicone, sulfate, water, or fillers.

As always, it’s vegan and cruelty-free.

Depending on the length of your hair, dispense 1-2 tablespoons of oil into the palm of your hand and gently rub to warm the oil.

Apply the oil evenly through detangled dry hair from root to tip. Massaging the oil into your scalp with your fingertips will help stimulate the hair follicles and enhance blood circulation- and it’s relaxing! We left it in for 30 minutes but you can wrap your hair and leave the oil in overnight for a more intensive treatment. The oil is really light and doesn’t drip, so it was easy to keep busy and do other tasks while waiting for the time to pass.

Wash, condition, and style your hair as usual once you’re done letting the oil do its thing. Repeat 2-3 times a week for optimal results.
