Beginning with the Fall/Winter 2016 season, all of the garments produced by the Armani Group, including those from Emporio Armani and Armani Exchange brands, will be fur free. Yay! The announcement is the result of ongoing efforts by the Fur Free Alliance (FFA).

The Fur Free Alliance is an international coalition of 40 animal protection organizations working together to end the exploitation and killing of animals for fur, both in wild trapping and industrial fur farming. Their tireless work includes public awareness of animal suffering caused by the fur industry, legislative actions and investigations, and promotion of readily available alternatives.

The Armani Group is the latest fashion house to publicly announce their fur-free commitment in accordance with FFA. Big names in fashion including ASOS, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and Stella McCartney have all made the pledge.
